For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a strong interest in teaching and technology. This passion was a common thread during my educational journey but was never fully realized until I joined the Feinberg team. Being able to regularly use problem-solving skills while also providing education on tech use is a dream come true! It’s fulfilling to know that my support to our case managers, coaches, and staff helps them focus on supporting our clients.

After spending a couple of years exploring various pathways while attending Oakland University, I eventually settled on Psychology and earned my Bachelor’s degree. My experiences teaching and conducting research during undergrad inspired me to attend graduate school at Kansas State University to earn a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, hoping to become a professor. Although I learned a lot from my mentors and through conducting research in decision-making and teaching various psychology courses, my passion began to wane. Instead of continuing to work towards my graduate degree, I applied what I had learned to a more practical setting by joining the workforce. The invaluable skills and knowledge obtained during those years remain among my greatest assets.

I believe one of the most important things in life is to avoid sweating the small stuff. Life is too short to spend much of it under unnecessary stress. Focusing on what matters allows us to build resilience against our biggest challenges.

Outside work, you can usually find me watching movies with my husband, playing video games, and snuggling with our four cats.
