If you want to go fast, go alone… but if you want to go far, go together.” This mantra helps me remember that it’s okay to need people and that it’s essential to have people you can count on and be there for you in your life.

I started my personal recovery journey back in 2005 and have been sober ever since. I built a solid foundation and, after ten years, was gifted an opportunity to use my experience and what I’ve learned to support individuals in a professional setting. The part I enjoy most is doing interventions. I love helping people get the support they deserve and being a part of them experiencing that they can change and that recovery is possible.

I am a certified Recovery Coach (CCAR) and received my intervention training from Breakfree Intervention Skills Training.

Regarding formal education, I started my collegiate journey as a music major studying music on scholarship as a classically trained percussionist and jazz drummer. I then changed majors and studied communication, finishing with a bachelor’s degree in Performance Communication with a minor in Music Performance from the University of South Florida.

I love staying active and enjoy all types of exercise, including running, boxing, cycling, high-intensity resistance and functional training, yoga, and my latest obsession, pickleball. I also love walking my dogs and watching them have fun. I got married in 2023 to a fantastic woman, and we love to travel and visit new places together. I am also active in my local recovery community, speaking regularly and doing service.
